What is the postage deposit. Why do I need to top up?

This page only applies to our legacy packages: Just Scan, Mailbox Basic, Mailbox Plus, Mailbox Pro and our full Virtual Office packages.

If you are on the new mail package called "Mail Forwarding Fixed" the content below does not apply (there are no deposits with this package).

How to find what package I have

Your postage deposit covers the Royal Mail postage costs of forwarding on your mail as well as a 20p handling charge per letter. The length of time that your deposit lasts depends on how much mail you receive, how it is handled (forwarded, scanned or collected) and where we forward it to.

When your postage deposit falls below £5.00 we’ll send an email requesting that you top it up.
